Utah, USA – Video filmed by X user Utah Fire Info shows the Wild Goose Fire producing a massive smoke plume and active flames as the wildfire continues to grow.

As of 12:15 p.m. on June 27, 2026, the Wild Goose Fire was estimated at 8,954 acres and was approximately 1.7 miles from the Sanpete County line.

The footage, recorded from a dirt road, shows intense fire behavior as a towering column of smoke rises into the sky above the fire.

Officials urged the public to continue monitoring official sources for updates and to follow any evacuation orders or safety guidance if issued.

Firefighters and emergency officials continue to monitor the wildfire as it advances toward the Sanpete County line.
