California – A video published on April 26 shows water and debris blocking Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) in California. Caltrans District 7 reported that rain caused debris to obstruct both directions at SR27, Tuna, and Big Rock. There is no access between SR27 and Carbon Beach Terrace, with all individuals being escorted out.
PCH remained closed through April 27, as crews worked to clear large amounts of mud. The highway was scheduled to reopen on April 28 at 6 a.m., with restricted access for residents, contractors, and emergency responders.
