Spokane area, Washington – Spokane Valley Fire filmed video showing a helicopter carrying out aerial water drops to support crews battling the Spokane Complex fires, including the Old Trails Fire.

The footage shows a helicopter flying over an open grassy field while carrying a large red water bucket on a long line. The aircraft releases a stream of water onto active flames and a large plume of smoke rising from the fire below.

A red barn and trees are visible in the distance beneath a clear sky as the helicopter works above the wildfire.
