Montecopiolo, Italy – On the afternoon of Saturday, April 25, 2026, firefighting teams were deployed to Montecopiolo to contain a vegetation fire that spread across three hectares of brush and brambles.

Firefighters on the ground were supported by the Drago helicopter from the Bologna Flight Unit, which assisted in efforts to control the flames from the air. The operation is still ongoing as crews continue working at the scene.
