Cottonwood Canyons, Utah – On May 5, 2025, snowplows from Utah Transportation were seen clearing snow from Guardsman Pass SR-190.

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) shared a video of the snow removal operation, showing the hard work of their crews.

UDOT Cottonwood Canyons provided an update, announcing that the 233-person crew is making significant progress.

While the opening date and time for the pass are still undetermined, UDOT reassured the public that they will release the information as soon as possible.

The efforts continue to restore normal access to the area, with snow removal operations ongoing.
