USA Conducts Lethal Strike On Narco-Terrorist Vessel In Eastern Pacific

Eastern Pacific Ocean – On March 19, at the direction of the Commander of U.S. Southern Command, Marine Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear carried out a lethal kinetic strike on a low-profile vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations. Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and engaged in narco-trafficking operations.

Three narco-terrorists survived the strike. No U.S. military forces were harmed during the engagement.

Following the operation, U.S. Southern Command immediately notified the U.S. Coast Guard, which activated its Search and Rescue system to recover the survivors.
