Eastern Pacific – On December 29, 2025, Joint Task Force Southern Spear carried out a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations in international waters, following orders from Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

Intelligence confirmed the vessel was traveling along known narco-trafficking routes and actively engaged in illegal operations.

The strike resulted in the deaths of two male narco-terrorists. No U.S. military personnel were harmed during the operation.
