Southeastern United States – A U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress nuclear bomber assigned to the 2nd Bomb Wing was refueled by a KC-135 Stratotanker from the 6th Air Refueling Wing on June 30, 2026.

The aerial refueling operation took place over the southeastern region of the United States.

The 6th Air Refueling Wing strengthens interoperability by training with a variety of aircraft and squadrons, ensuring readiness to support global operations anywhere, anytime.
