Eastern Pacific – On Feb. 5, 2026, Joint Task Force Southern Spear carried out a lethal kinetic strike against a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations.

The operation was conducted under the direction of SOUTHCOM Commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan.

Intelligence confirmed the vessel was moving along known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and was actively involved in narco-trafficking operations.

Two narco-terrorists were killed during the strike.

No U.S. military forces were harmed.
