Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands – An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, known as the “Island Knights,” conducted a site survey in support of disaster relief operations following Typhoon Sinlaku.
The aircraft was deployed to assess conditions in Saipan on April 18, 2026, as part of emergency response efforts in the aftermath of the storm.
Within the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, Commander, Task Force 76 is responsible for expeditionary warfare missions using Navy and Marine Corps capabilities. These operations support a wide range of situations, from crisis response to full combat operations.
The helicopter mission formed part of the broader disaster relief effort taking place after the typhoon impacted the region.
