Warren County, Kentucky, United States – Dramatic shelf clouds and violent storm structures moved across rural farmland near Chaney’s Dairy Barn, southwest of Bowling Green.
The footage, filmed by Justin Smith, shows a shaky handheld view sweeping across open green fields and a muddy track in the foreground. Scattered trees, farm buildings including a silo, and a small wooden playground with slides appear across the rural landscape.
Overhead, massive dark gray shelf clouds dominate the sky, forming low and turbulent layers that shift and rotate as the storm advances. Brighter breaks in the cloud cover and distant rain shafts appear intermittently, while scattered homes and streetlights are visible along the horizon beneath the heavy overcast.
The caption reads, “Best I got outta the severe storms moving through Warren Co earlier”.
