Slapout, Oklahoma Panhandle, USA – A powerful supercell thunderstorm produced a dramatic funnel cloud and possible tornado on Thursday afternoon, June 25, 2026, as severe storms moved across the Oklahoma Panhandle.

The video, filmed by X user Jeremy Milligan, was captured about four miles south of Slapout near Shattuck. The footage shows a huge, dark, rotating wall cloud with a distinct tapered funnel extending downward from the base of the storm.

Heavy rain shafts and swirling debris can be seen beneath the threatening cloud structure over the flat and open farmland.

The National Weather Service issued tornado warnings for the area as multiple tornadoes touched down in Beaver County and nearby regions that afternoon. Meteorologists and storm chasers confirmed several touchdowns, with this supercell producing some of the most impressive storm structures observed during the day.

The footage demonstrates the strength of Great Plains severe weather, where rotating supercells can quickly generate dangerous tornadoes in rural areas that may have little warning time.

No immediate damage reports have been directly linked to this specific funnel, but the wider outbreak led to active monitoring by NWS Amarillo.
