Maverick County, Texas – Texas Department of Public Safety troopers arrested a documented Houston gang member following a high-speed pursuit as part of Operation Lone Star.

Dashcam footage shows troopers chasing a vehicle through residential streets and rural roads before the pursuit continues along a two-lane highway at dusk. After the stop, troopers take a suspect into custody on grassy terrain.

The arrest resulted in the apprehension of eight illegal immigrants, including five from Mexico and three special interest aliens from China.

The suspect was identified as Saede Rebollar, a documented Tango Blast gang member from Houston, who was charged with smuggling of persons.

Texas DPS said it remains focused on working with law enforcement partners to disrupt transnational criminal organizations, combat human smuggling, and keep dangerous criminals off the streets.
