London, United Kingdom – A large protest unfolded in central London near Westminster as thousands of demonstrators marched through the streets carrying Palestinian and Iranian flags while holding signs demanding an end to military actions in the Middle East.
The demonstration was filmed by X user Stephen Bell from within the crowd as participants moved forward in a dense group along a street lined with historic buildings and trees. Many protesters wore coats, hats, and scarves under overcast skies as men, women, and children walked together toward the US Embassy.
Participants raised placards reading “Stop Arming Israel,” “Stop Trump’s Wars,” “No War on Iran,” “Stop the War on Iran,” and “Stop Bombing Iran,” along with peace symbols. Protesters also chanted slogans including “Stop the bombing now” and “From Iran to Palestine, bombing children is a crime.”
The rally began at Millbank near Victoria Tower Gardens and drew between 5,000 and 6,000 people. It was organized by groups including the Stop the War Coalition, the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, and the Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
During the event, speakers addressed the crowd, including Your Party MP Zarah Sultana, calling for an end to the escalating conflict in the Middle East and a halt to arms sales to Israel.
The march remained largely peaceful, although police reported four arrests, including one involving possession of an offensive weapon.
