Furniture, hanging lights, walls, and objects inside the apartment sway and rattle intensely for several seconds as the floor and structure move during the quake.

The person filming holds the camera unsteadily while panning around the apartment, capturing the powerful tremors in real time from a high vantage point.

The footage was posted moments after the earthquake with the caption: “The tremor felt strong on the 14th floor #Antofagasta.”

The video is one of the clearest recordings from a high-rise apartment in Antofagasta during the event.

The earthquake, centered near Calama, was widely felt across northern Chile.

No major damage or casualties were reported in the city.
