Suspects Chain ATM And Make Chaos In Christmas Eve Heist

White Settlement, United States – A brazen Christmas Eve ATM theft captured on store surveillance video drew national attention and sparked a major multi-agency investigation across North Texas.

Detective Geovanny Ramirez of the White Settlement Police Department led the inquiry, working closely with the Bedford and Euless Police Departments and the Texas Rangers to share intelligence and connect related offenses. A credible tip identifying one of the main suspects came within 24 hours through Tarrant County Crime Stoppers, providing a critical break in the case.

Over the following months, Detective Ramirez secured three felony arrest warrants covering all suspects. The suspects in custody as of Saturday, March 28, 2026, include 28-year-old Jay Gerard Jones Jr., who engaged in organized crime and was arrested on March 8 with a $10,000 bond; 26-year-old Aaron Tre Vuentae Rabon Alex, arrested March 24 with a $250,000 bond; and 24-year-old Bronya Keshawn Freeman, arrested March 24 with a $25,000 bond. One suspect attached a chain to the ATM, another drove the stolen Yukon, and a third operated a separate getaway car with stolen plates. Other agencies also filed charges for offenses in their jurisdictions.

“Outstanding work on connecting the dots quickly by our investigative team and Detective Geovanny Ramirez,” said Chief of Police Christopher Cook. “I am grateful for the initial on-scene response by our Patrol Division, Criminal Investigations Unit, WEST COMM Dispatch Center, Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit, the Fort Worth Police Department West Division and TRIDENT Real-Time Crime Center, coupled with the citizen tip that same day.”

All cash taken during the incident was recovered. Additional support came from the Fort Worth Police Department Intelligence Unit, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Rangers, and police departments in Bedford, Euless, Grapevine, and Dallas.
