Spain – Videos capture a bright sporadic bolide streaking across the night sky over Spain on the evening of June 2, 2026.

The first recording documents the event at 21:44:28 UTC (23:44 CEST), showing the fireball passing through the constellation Ophiuchus.

A second view, recorded from Madrid’s M-30, shows the same bolide at 15 frames per second. In the lower central area of the frame, the planets Venus and Jupiter are visible within the constellation Gemini.

The footage shows a fast-moving, brilliant fireball illuminating the dark sky as it travels, leaving a glowing trail while burning up in the atmosphere.

These multiple angles provide a clear scientific record of the sporadic meteor event.

The fireball has been added to an updated list of meteoric events for further study.
