SpaceX Falcon 9 Sends 29 Starlink Satellites Into Orbit As Company Enters Public Trading

Cape Canaveral, Florida – A Falcon 9 rocket launched from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, carrying 29 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit for SpaceX’s internet service.

The launch took place from the Florida Space Coast, marking another deployment in the company’s satellite network expansion. The mission delivered the satellites into orbit shortly after liftoff.

Following separation, the rocket’s first-stage booster returned and landed on the droneship “A Shortfall of Gravitas” positioned in the Atlantic Ocean. This marked the 27th flight for the reused booster.

The operation occurred on the same day SpaceX officially began public trading. The company entered the stock market, allowing investors to purchase shares in the aerospace, internet, and artificial intelligence firm.

Shares are set to begin trading on the Nasdaq Exchange, coinciding with the launch activity from Florida.
