Solon, United States – Intense hail struck Solon, Ohio, as severe thunderstorms moved through Cuyahoga County on April 15, 2026.
The scene, filmed by X user Joeyfine, shows conditions at 5:11 PM as heavy precipitation rapidly covers a parking lot or roadside area in a thick, slushy layer of white hailstones. A dark gray and black SUV sits parked in the foreground while hail repeatedly strikes its body, windows, and the wet ground around it.
Visibility is heavily reduced as fog and mist from the storm obscure bare trees and distant structures in the background. The camera view shifts unsteadily while hail continues to accumulate and impact the vehicle and surrounding area.
The caption describing the event states: “My poor dad’s truck took it hard in solon.”
