Utah, United States – Video filmed by X user UDOT Cottonwood Canyons shows a snowplow truck actively clearing a mountain road in Utah’s Cottonwood Canyons as winter conditions move through the area.
The bright orange Mack snowplow advances along the road, pushing thick layers of snow off the pavement and onto the roadside in a forceful spray. The wide plow blade cuts through the accumulation while the truck continues steadily forward.
The handheld footage follows the vehicle from the roadside, showing the cab, flashing lights, and a “Henderson” dump bed in closer views. Snow-covered pine trees line the route, with power lines overhead and mountains in the background under a gray, overcast sky. A gray pickup truck is also seen parked further down the road.
The post included a caption referencing the SR-190 and SR-210 forecast, noting scattered snow until 9pm on April 26, followed by showers and up to 7 inches of snow in the upper canyons on April 27. The footage shows road crews working in real time to keep routes clear ahead of incoming weather.
