Savery, Wyoming – X user Jim Espy filmed a video showing snow piling up on a rural property near Savery, about three miles east of the Wyoming-Colorado state line.
The footage, shot around 9:21 AM MST on February 12, 2026, captures heavy snow covering the ground, creating fresh white layers across the ranch. Espy noted having to change jackets after the previous rain soaked through.
The video focuses entirely on the snowfall, showing splashes and ripples as flakes hit the wet surfaces and capturing the quiet, wintry atmosphere under gray overcast skies.
Posted later that day with the caption, “This started as rain overnight since it didn’t freeze, converted over to snow this morning. Which is great that means it’ll soak in, but I had to sneak back and get another jacket. My first one soaked through,” the clip drew attention for its real-time view of winter conditions.
