Macon Lake, United States – Multiple dust devils were seen forming and moving across a dry open field at Macon Lake on Highway 65, north of Lake Village, Arkansas, on April 9, 2026.

Video filmed by X user South Ark Weather shows several spinning columns of dust and debris of different sizes traveling across the ground. The handheld footage captures the swirling formations under clear skies and windy conditions during the afternoon.

The person who shared the video wrote: “Came across an outbreak of dust devils at Macon Lake on Highway 65.”

The phenomenon was the result of very dry and gusty weather in southeast Arkansas that day. No damage or injuries were reported.
