Huesca, Spain – A stranded hiker was rescued in the Pyrenees of Huesca after becoming unable to continue in difficult mountain terrain.

The operation was carried out by the GREIM mountain rescue team and the Huesca Air Unit over the course of a rapid response effort in steep and challenging conditions.

The hiker was secured by rescue personnel before being evacuated by helicopter from the mountain.

The video shows coordinated air support and ground intervention as the team worked to reach and extract the individual safely.

The rescue was completed successfully with the hiker transported away from the hazardous area.
