Lossiemouth, UK – UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer met personnel and families of RAF Lossiemouth over the Christmas period in the Warrant Officers’ Mess during a joint visit with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.

The Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom and Norway visited RAF Lossiemouth on 4 December 2025. The visit was designed to highlight military cooperation between the two nations.

The programme focused on the Norwegian purchase of the Type 26 and the agreement for Norwegian personnel to be trained and operate on the UK Poseidon aircraft.

QRA(I) N was also on the schedule, demonstrating readiness in line with the Chief of the Air Staff’s intent.

During the visit, the UK Prime Minister took the opportunity to meet personnel on duty over the Christmas period, along with their families, and to deliver a Christmas message to service personnel.
