Altavilla Monferrato, Italy – A suspected gas leak explosion led to the collapse of a farmhouse on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Firefighters were deployed at around 12:00 p.m. after the explosion caused damage to the rural structure.

One person was rescued and handed over to medical personnel for care.

Fire crews worked at the scene alongside search dog units and USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) specialists. They searched through the debris and carried out safety checks on the structure.

After operations concluded, authorities confirmed that no additional people were involved in the collapse.
