Sahuarita, United States – A police department shared video showing officers and wildlife officials using a tarp to catch a tranquilized bear as it fell from a tree.

Authorities said officers were called to Rancho Sahuarita after a wandering bear climbed into a tree in the area.

Wildlife personnel from Arizona Game and Fish used a tranquilizer on the bear.

In the footage, the bear is seen becoming sedated and dropping from the tree while officers and wildlife staff hold a tarp underneath to catch its fall.

Officials confirmed that the bear was safely relocated after the operation.

The coordinated response involved police and wildlife personnel working together to manage the situation and ensure safe handling of the animal.
