Fauquier County, United States – MPO B. Mundon was driving home through Fauquier County when motorists flagged him down after a serious crash occurred in a forested wooded area.

When he arrived at the scene, he found an overturned vehicle with two people trapped inside. One person was unresponsive, and screams were coming from within the wrecked car.

MPO Mundon quickly used a baton to break the vehicle windows in order to reach the victims. He was assisted by passing motorists and members of the public at the scene.

Together, they managed to pull both trapped occupants to safety. Both individuals suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The fast response on scene ensured the victims were rescued before further emergency assistance arrived.
