New York City, USA – A handheld video filmed by X user New York City Kopp shows a striking Nike and Jordan Brand street art installation in SoHo at 224 Mulberry Street.
The display features a massive 500-pound concrete “brick” sculpture placed directly on top of a crushed black BMW 745Li sedan. The sculpture carries the Nike Swoosh, “BIKE AIR,” the Jumpman logo, and “NIGEL SYLVESTER,” with shattered glass and debris scattered across the street.
The camera pans around the heavily damaged luxury car from several angles as onlookers gather on the sidewalk to observe the scene.
The installation is an official promotional activation titled “The Weight of Progress,” created by BMX rider Nigel Sylvester for his “Brick After Brick” Air Jordan 4 collaboration with Jordan Brand, scheduled for release in May 2026.
The crushed car is presented as a visual metaphor for overcoming obstacles and building success “brick by brick.”
The video was posted with the caption, “Nike’s killing it with this ad in SoHo New York City,” documenting the attention-grabbing commercial activation.
