New York City – Subway cars across New York City turned into moving celebrations late Wednesday night after the New York Knicks completed the largest comeback in NBA Finals history.

Inside crowded train cars, passengers stood packed tightly under bright fluorescent lighting, cheering loudly as the conductor’s voice came over the public address system, leading chants for the home team. Many fans wore orange and black or Knicks gear, while others lifted smartphones to capture the moment. Some riders stood gripping overhead rails and poles, while others remained seated in the tightly packed space.

The atmosphere inside the subway was filled with visible excitement. A woman with dark hair tied in a bun was seen smiling broadly, turning toward the celebration. Nearby, a man with bleached-blonde hair wearing a black t-shirt with orange lettering held his phone high to record the scene. A yellow “NO BAD VIBES” sticker was visible on a backpack as the train moved through underground tunnels.

The reaction followed the Knicks’ dramatic 107-106 win over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4. The team had been trailing by 29 points with less than 10 minutes left in the third quarter before staging a historic comeback.

OG Anunoby secured the victory with a put-back tip-in shot with 1.2 seconds remaining, giving New York a 3-1 series lead. The win marked the franchise’s first NBA Finals appearance since 1999 and put them one win away from their first championship since 1973.

Across the city’s five boroughs, fans gathered in streets, bars, and watch parties. Subway conductors joined the celebrations, transforming regular rides into rolling scenes of jubilation as Knicks fever spread across New York.
