Minor Saved From Drowning As Patrol Team Rushes To Scene In Philippines

Tabaco City, Philippines – Coast Guard Substation Tabaco, together with SOU Bicol and FOU K9 Bicol, successfully carried out a rescue operation after a minor was spotted drowning in Brgy. Fatima while the team was on a routine seaborne patrol aboard AB-209.

The Coast Guard responded immediately upon noticing the incident and swiftly pulled the minor from the water. First aid was promptly administered to ensure the victim’s safety and stable condition.

The rescue team also coordinated with CDRRMO Tabaco to secure additional assistance and guarantee proper medical care for the minor.

Coast Guard Substation Tabaco continues to urge parents and guardians to closely monitor children near the sea. Drowning can occur within minutes and often without warning, especially during the summer season.
