Guadalajara, Mexico – Video filmed by X user Andrés Sigala shows two military-style helicopters flying in formation above the city while carrying a large Mexican national flag that moves strongly in the wind.

The flag, featuring green, white, and red stripes with the central coat of arms, waves dramatically against a bright blue sky scattered with white clouds as the aircraft travel steadily overhead.

Below the aerial display, green treetops and urban buildings frame the scene as the flag remains the dominant visual element, suspended and flowing freely while visible across the city.

The flyover creates a striking patriotic image, with the flag clearly displayed in the sky as it is carried above Guadalajara.

This aerial tribute takes place ahead of Mexico’s Group A match in the 2026 FIFA World Cup against South Korea on June 18 at Estadio Guadalajara.

The helicopter display acts as a public celebration, building anticipation and unity among fans in one of the tournament’s host cities as the country prepares to welcome international competition.
