Milas, Muğla, Turkey – Nighttime footage shows intense firefighting operations against a major wildfire on a hillside in Milas, Muğla province.

The blaze illuminated the night sky with towering orange and red flames as vegetation and trees burned. Thick smoke glowed against the darkness while firefighters worked near the active fire line.

Red forestry fire trucks with flashing lights were positioned in the area as crews equipped with headlamps and hoses fought the flames.

Heavy machinery, including bulldozers, operated through smoke and fire as teams carried out suppression efforts. Sparks and embers could be seen flying through the air while crews sprayed water or retardant.

A significant forest fire erupted in Milas district on the evening of July 14, 2026. Forestry teams, supported by aircraft, helicopters, ground crews, and heavy machinery, worked through the night to contain the flames.

The fire was largely brought under control by the following day, while mop-up operations continued amid broader wildfire activity across the Muğla region.
