Brieva, Segovia, Castilla y León, Spain – A Level 2 wildfire near Brieva has forced the evacuation of eight population centers and a farm school in Santo Domingo de Pirón.

Video shows a vehicle driving along a rural road through dry grassland as huge yellow-brown smoke clouds cover the sky. Thick smoke rises from the hills ahead, reducing visibility as the fire advances across the countryside.

The wildfire has affected several homes in the localities of Tenzuela and Aldeasaz. Pelayos del Arroyo has been placed under confinement orders.

Although weather conditions appear to be improving, the fire remains uncontrolled.
