Almorox (Toledo) – Villa del Prado (Madrid), Spain — Guardia Civil vehicles with emergency lights activated patrolled residential streets as a massive cloud of orange smoke reduced visibility around homes and trees near the wildfire zone.

The footage shows officers managing traffic and securing the area while thick smoke blankets the streets during the ongoing wildfire.

The wildfire, which started between Almorox and Villa del Prado, prompted the activation of a Level 2 emergency. Authorities evacuated the El Encinar del Alberche urbanization and closed roads, including the M-403.

The fire burned approximately 1,000 hectares before containment improved.
