Massive Fire Forces Evacuation Of 10 Residents In Indiana

IIndianapolis, USA – A heavy fire broke out inside a structure at 3241 Lafayette Road, forcing the evacuation of 10 occupants, all of whom are reported safe.

Multiple 911 calls alerted the Metropolitan Emergency Services Agency, prompting the response of nearly 100 firefighters to the scene.

Teams from the Indianapolis Fire Department, Pike Township Fire, Speedway Fire, and Wayne Township Fire battled the blaze in brutal sub-zero conditions for more than four hours before bringing it under control.

Firefighters will remain on site for several more hours to manage hot spots and ensure the area remains safe.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by IFD Fire Investigators.
