Caracas, Venezuela – X user Robert Lobo captured a massive nighttime procession of cars, motorcycles, buses, and thousands of fans moving along Avenida Bolívar as celebrations swept through the city.
Enormous yellow, blue, and red Venezuelan flags covered vehicles and were waved high by crowds packed on sidewalks and medians. Horns blared, headlights flashed, and city skyscrapers glowed in the background.
From inside the dense caravan, people cheered, danced, raised phones, and spilled into the street as the group advanced toward Plaza Venezuela under bright streetlights and palm trees.
The footage was recorded around 9:00 p.m. local time on March 18, 2026, following Venezuela’s dramatic 3-2 victory over the United States in the World Baseball Classic final the night before. It was the country’s first-ever WBC title.
The win sparked spontaneous caravans and street celebrations across Caracas and beyond, continuing well into the early morning hours.
The moment was described as “9:00 p.m. caravan on Avenida Bolívar in Caracas. The celebration continues for the country’s first World Baseball Classic championship as they head to Plaza Venezuela.”
