Marijuana Plantation Dismantled In Castuera With Three People Arrested

Castuera, Spain – Authorities dismantled a marijuana plantation inside a home in the municipality of Castuera, located in the province of Badajoz.

The operation uncovered around 500 marijuana plants. The house had been equipped with indoor greenhouses and specialized systems to support plant growth.

Three individuals were arrested during the operation. These included the homeowner and two others believed to be in charge of maintaining the plantation.

One of the detainees was already wanted by the Judicial Authority for arrest and transfer to custody.

Illegal connections to the power grid were also found at the site. These were used to supply electricity to the plantation’s systems.

Investigations remain ongoing to determine the full extent of the activity and whether others were involved.

The case highlights concerns about the illegal use of private properties and the importance of enforcing energy regulations in the area.
