Forney, Texas, USA – Video filmed by X user Goose captures three intense clips of a powerful nighttime lightning storm sweeping across a suburban neighborhood during severe weather conditions.

Bright purple-white and pink lightning bolts strike repeatedly across the dark sky, branching and flashing in rapid bursts. Each strike lights up the surrounding houses, trees, streets, and rooftops, creating sharp and vivid illumination across the area.

The shaky handheld footage is filmed from ground level, pointing upward as both cloud-to-ground and cloud-to-cloud lightning spreads across the sky. The entire neighborhood is repeatedly lit by the storm’s sudden flashes.

In one sequence, several people are seen lying on grass and sidewalks watching the storm before reacting and quickly getting up after a particularly bright lightning strike. A silver pickup truck is also visible parked nearby in the foreground.
