Kīlauea Volcano, Hawaii – A lava fountain has erupted at the summit of Kīlauea, known as the most active volcano in the world, during ongoing volcanic activity at Halemaʻumaʻu crater.
The eruption, identified as episode 48, emerged from the north vent within Halemaʻumaʻu crater at the summit of the volcano. The activity is part of continuing volcanic events at the site.
Footage shows the lava fountain rising from the crater as seen from near Uēkahuna overlook in Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. The viewpoint captures the summit area where the eruption is taking place.
The video documents the sustained activity at the crater, with lava being expelled from the vent at the volcano’s summit.
