Coral Springs, United States – Firefighters in Florida came to the aid of a large pet python that had slithered into the dashboard of a car and refused to come out.

The incident occurred over the weekend when a driver arrived at Station 43 seeking help with the snake.

“A python happened to slither his way into the car dashboard area,” the Coral Springs Fire Department said.

Videos from the scene show firefighters partially removing the driver’s seat to gain access to the hidden snake.

A firefighter was eventually able to grab the yellow serpent and safely remove it from the dashboard, ending the “slithery situation.”
