Mannsville, New York – Heavy lake effect snow has made travel along I-81 in the Jefferson County Village of Mannsville, just over the Oswego County line, extremely difficult.

Authorities reported that road conditions are tough, with snow accumulating rapidly and visibility reduced for drivers.

Officials are urging motorists to limit travel. “The fewer vehicles on the roadway, the easier it is for our crews to do their job. Please stay home if you can,” they said.

Crews are working to maintain safe conditions, but residents are advised to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary travel until the storm passes.
