Kanlaon Volcano, Philippines – Footage captured at 05:23 PM on April 24, 2026 shows ash emission from the summit crater of Kanlaon Volcano, recorded by an IP camera at the Lower Masulog observation station (VKLM).
The visual recording shows grayish ash plumes emerging from the crater and rising to a height of 800 meters above the summit. The plume is then seen drifting in a southwest direction.
The emission comes directly from the volcano’s summit crater, with the ash cloud forming a distinct gray column against the surrounding sky.
Authorities have kept Alert Level 2 in effect over Kanlaon Volcano following the activity.
