Kanlaon Volcano, Philippines – Time-lapse footage captured at 05:48 AM on April 22, 2026 shows ash emission from the summit crater of Kanlaon Volcano.
The imagery, recorded by an IP camera at the Kanlaon Volcano Observatory–Canlaon City, shows grayish ash plumes emerging from the crater.
The ash rose approximately 500 meters above the summit before drifting toward the southwest.
The event was observed during ongoing volcanic activity at the site.
Alert Level 2 remains in effect over Kanlaon Volcano, indicating continued unrest.
