Southern Lebanon – Video filmed by X user Israeli Air Force, captioned with a statement describing a strike on a building north of the forward defense line in southern Lebanon, shows an air operation targeting individuals identified as Hezbollah operatives.

The footage opens with ground level scenes of armed figures in tactical gear moving quickly between multi story residential style buildings in a dusty, damaged area. Debris and dust are seen rising as they move through the surroundings.

The video then switches to aerial surveillance showing a wider area with buildings, fields, and trees. A targeting crosshair locks onto one structure before a precision strike hits the building, causing a large explosion and a rising fireball.

A thick plume of dark smoke is shown spreading over the area following the impact.

The caption states that five Hezbollah operatives were located inside the targeted building and were eliminated in the strike, which was guided by combat team forces of the 551st Brigade under the 146th Division.

The Israeli Air Force released the footage on 22 May 2026, describing it as documentation of an operation carried out the previous day.

The operation was presented as part of ongoing military activity in southern Lebanon aimed at countering threats to ground forces and civilians.
