Southern Lebanon – Forces from IDF Division 91 have carried out operations in southern Lebanon, locating and destroying multiple Hezbollah weapons caches and related infrastructure, according to footage released online.
A video shows troops operating across open terrain as they search for hidden sites containing combat equipment and explosive materials. The operation included the discovery of concealed storage locations and facilities believed to be intended for attacks against Israeli forces and civilians.
The footage also shows the destruction of these sites, carried out through controlled demolitions using large amounts of explosives. The operations took place during both nighttime and daytime missions, with units systematically targeting identified locations.
The post accompanying the footage states: “Detection and destruction of dozens of weapons: activity of Division 91 forces in southern Lebanon,” and includes a reference to further details on the official IDF website.
The release describes ongoing ground activity in the border region, focused on dismantling Hezbollah’s military infrastructure. These operations include the identification and elimination of weapons depots, rocket launch sites, booby-trapped structures, and other military assets linked to hostile activity.
The aim of the operations is to reduce threats along the border by removing hidden weapons and disrupting the infrastructure used to support armed activity in the area.
