Dahiyeh, southern suburbs of Beirut, Lebanon – Drone footage shows a densely built urban neighborhood where an Israeli airstrike hits a multi-story building amid active street life below.

Cars can be seen moving along the road and pedestrians are visible on sidewalks and near the roadway just moments before the impact. The targeted structure sits within a tightly packed district of residential and commercial buildings.

The strike triggers a powerful explosion as the munition impacts the building, producing a bright fireball that quickly expands outward.

A large cloud of gray and white smoke rises rapidly, spreading above nearby rooftops and partially obscuring the streets and surrounding structures. Debris is thrown outward from the point of impact.

As the smoke thickens, parts of the urban landscape remain visible, including adjacent buildings and distant hills beyond the district.

The operation was carried out by the Israel Defense Forces on June 14, 2026. Israeli officials stated the target was a Hezbollah command headquarters in the Dahiyeh area.

According to the statement, the facility was used for planning attacks against Israeli civilians and military forces operating in southern Lebanon. The strike followed reports of Hezbollah launching aerial projectiles toward northern Israel earlier the same day.

Lebanese authorities reported casualties in the strike on an apartment building in the area. Dahiyeh is described as a densely populated Hezbollah stronghold south of central Beirut.

The Israel Defense Forces described the operation as a precise strike and said it was conducted in response to ongoing threats, with continued operations expected against Hezbollah infrastructure.
