Beaufort Ridge area, southern Lebanon – The Israel Defense Forces released footage showing an extensive Hezbollah underground tunnel network discovered beneath the Beaufort Ridge.

According to the IDF, the network was planned and funded by Iran. The underground complex contains living quarters, water and electrical infrastructure, and extensive anti-tank and air defense capabilities intended to target IDF troops and Israeli civilians.

The video, filmed by the IDF, shows soldiers moving through narrow concrete tunnels illuminated by flashlights. Exposed pipes, electrical wiring, and ventilation systems are visible throughout the passages. On-screen text identifies the location as an “Underground terror route identified in the Beaufort area.”

Footage from inside the network reveals living quarters equipped with bunk beds, mattresses, and blankets. Storage areas containing boxes and crates can also be seen, along with various infrastructure elements. In one section, a soldier examines and points to items placed on shelves and on the floor.

The IDF stated that the tunnel system was built near Lebanese Armed Forces activity. As part of efforts to enforce the agreement between Israel and Lebanon, a request was submitted to the Lebanese Armed Forces to address the site. However, according to the IDF, Hezbollah prevented them from doing so.

The footage provides interior views of the underground network, highlighting the scale and complexity of the tunnel system uncovered beneath the Beaufort Ridge.
