Zamora, Spain – Rapid intervention by INFOCAL crews in the IFRioManzanas area has helped significantly reduce the intensity of a wildfire with high potential for spread.
The incident is recorded as the 19th wildfire affecting seven municipalities in the Zamora area since March.
Authorities report that a total of 337 hectares have been burned.
Officials say the quick response helped limit the severity of the fire during active conditions.
The affected zone includes multiple municipalities within the region, where repeated fire incidents have been recorded in recent months.
Crews continue to monitor the situation and assess damage linked to previous wildfires in the area.
