Gaza Strip – First-person bodycam footage shows Israeli forces moving through a newly discovered underground tunnel network in central Gaza, revealing narrow metal-lined corridors and hidden living spaces beneath the surface.
The shaky, flashlight-lit video captures troops advancing through tight passageways with reinforced concrete and corrugated metal walls. The camera moves through dark sections of the tunnel as soldiers explore deeper into the structure.
Inside the network, multiple rooms are shown set up for long-term use. Yellow mattresses are placed on the floor alongside blue blankets and pillows, with small tables, chairs, scattered personal belongings, wiring, and equipment visible throughout the space.
As the footage continues, different sections of the tunnel system appear, including storage areas, sleeping quarters, and debris-filled zones with added structural support. The camera pans across the confined environment as troops proceed further inside.
The video was released with a caption stating that two underground tunnel routes were dismantled, with a combined length of approximately two kilometers, located east of the Yellow Line in central Gaza.
The message also reported that several hideouts and weapons were found within the tunnel routes, and that troops discovered dozens of rockets and explosive devices during searches in the surrounding area.
According to the same statement, the tunnels were part of a wider operation carried out by the Kfir Brigade, which exposed and destroyed underground infrastructure following the October 2025 ceasefire period.
The tunnels were located in an area under operational control, and the footage highlights ongoing efforts to locate and dismantle underground structures used for militant activity beneath populated areas.
