IDF Strikes And Raids Continue In Southern Lebanon Despite Ceasefire

Southern Lebanon – The Israel Defense Forces published video showing ongoing military operations targeting Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.

The footage, compiled from multiple clips, opens with aerial and drone strike sequences, including thermal imagery. Precision strikes hit structures in a village area, triggering large explosions followed by thick smoke and dust rising from the impact zones.

According to the post’s caption, the operations include approximately 50 airstrikes, more than 25 militants eliminated, and the destruction of hundreds of terror-related infrastructures above and below ground. The IDF said it continues operations aimed at protecting Israeli citizens and its forces in the region.

The video then shifts to ground operations, showing soldiers moving through hilly terrain with vegetation and stone structures. Additional clips show troops clearing buildings, some recorded using night-vision imagery.

The final segment displays seized weapons laid out on fabric, including RPG launchers, grenades, ammunition magazines, and other military equipment.

The material was released on April 23, 2026, and shows activity conducted since a ceasefire took effect. The IDF stated that both air and ground operations have continued in southern Lebanon to target threats and destroy infrastructure, while maintaining a security buffer for northern Israel.
